KoRn and adidas Team Up for Third Collaborative Collection Celebrating 30 Years of Nu-Metal
The iconic nu-metal band KoRn and sportswear giant adidas have joined forces once again to release their third collaborative collection. This time, the collection pays homage to the 30th anniversary of KoRn’s debut album and features a monochrome color scheme with pops of scarlet red and purple.
The collection includes a range of sporty staples with a rebellious and grungy twist, such as a reversible tracksuit, graphic tee, tartan overshirt, hoodie, knee-high socks, beanie, and tote bag. One standout piece is the long-sleeve tee, which features a large graphic imprint of KoRn’s debut album cover art.
But the collaboration doesn’t stop at apparel. The collection also includes two footwear styles: the Superstar Korn Shoes and KoRn Adilettes Slides. The Superstar Korn Shoes feature a “Core Black” smooth leather upper with white laces, sockliner, and off-white outsole. The lateral Three-Stripes on the shoes showcase both KoRn and adidas logos in a repeat pattern on the right foot, while the left foot highlights “EST. 1994” in red with a tonal guitar pick hanging from the eyelet. The Superstar logo in a mirror effect sits on the edge of the quarters.
