Moose Knuckles Launches “Moose Labs” Collaborative Collection with Global Artistic Director Carlos Nazario

Carlos Nazario, the Global Artistic Director of Moose Knuckles, has been with the team for just about a year now. And today, the Canada-based label has announced the highly anticipated launch of its “Moose Labs” series of collaborative collections, starting with Nazario’s debut release.

The collection, consisting of twelve pieces, showcases Nazario’s unique take on some of Moose Knuckles’ signature silhouettes through his NYC design lens. Drawing inspiration from the 1990’s hip-hop scene, Nazario combines utilitarian functionality with the protective elements of the label’s archival military-inspired pieces.

“For me, outerwear is more than just functional – it’s a crucial part of one’s personal style. Growing up in New York City, spending time outdoors was a big part of my life, and outerwear became a statement of my personal aesthetic,” said Nazario in a statement. “This collection is a tribute to the coats that first made me feel truly sophisticated, blending Moose Knuckles’ Canadian military roots with exquisite craftsmanship and quality that will be appreciated by discerning individuals. There’s a sense of glamour in this collection that reflects our bold and stylish approach to outerwear design.”

The Moose Labs collection features a variety of jackets, including bombers, bikers, pilot jackets, and parkas. The range also includes more sophisticated silhouettes such as full-length parkas and coats, as well as leather pants, mittens, and pilot hats to complete the utilitarian look. Each garment in the collection is crafted with high-quality materials such as leather, Mongolian wool, down, and shearling.
