Rocky’s Matcha Takes Over Harajuku with New sacai Collaboration

Since its inception in 2022 by the visionary Rocky Xu, Rocky’s Matcha has been making waves around the world with its pop-up shops and collaborations with top streetwear brands like Bodega and Awake NY. And now, the tea brand is teaming up with Japanese fashion powerhouse sacai for a special collection of apparel, available exclusively at a pop-up cafe in Harajuku.

Tea and Fashion Collide at Rocky’s Matcha x sacai Pop-Up

The limited edition pieces from the Rocky’s Matcha x sacai collaboration will be sold alongside a menu of delicious hot and iced tea-based beverages. But it’s not just the drinks that are getting a makeover – the apparel collection features graphic t-shirts and hoodies with co-branded sacai x Rocky’s Matcha wordmarks, combining the tea brand’s signature handwritten style with sacai’s modern sans serif typeface. One of the standout pieces even boasts a faded finish, adding a personal touch to the collection.

Collaboration with retaW Brings Unique Fragrance to the Mix

In addition to the apparel, Rocky’s Matcha is teaming up with fragrance company retaW to offer a special auto-fragrance featuring a matcha illustration by Ryuto Miyake. This unique scent will add another layer to the sensory experience of the pop-up cafe.
