Goldwin Unveils Fall/Winter 2024 Collection for Experimental Project, Goldwin 0
Goldwin, the innovative brand known for its technical designs, has just revealed its latest collection for its experimental project, Goldwin 0. This highly anticipated collection marks the third season of collaboration between Goldwin and guest designer Nur Abbas, who joined the brand last year.
Inspired by Nature’s Spirals
Drawing inspiration from the intricate spiral structures found in nature, Abbas has created a collection that is both visually stunning and functional. The concept of rolling paper into a tube shape and allowing it to unfold is translated into the design of jacket sleeves and pant legs, resulting in a unique and eye-catching aesthetic.
Loose Yet Structured
The garments in this collection strike the perfect balance between loose and structured. With varying degrees of curvature and texture, each piece is carefully crafted to provide both comfort and style.
Layered Looks
The collection also features a selection of cropped puffers and vests, layered over long-sleeve waffle shirts and sweaters. These versatile pieces are perfect for layering and adding dimension to any outfit.
Technical Details
Abbas has utilized GORE-TEX for the jackets in this collection, creating a paneled design that minimizes water intrusion. The parka, in particular, features a spiral design that provides optimal insulation for colder weather.
Forest Photoshoot
To showcase the collection, Goldwin chose to photograph the lookbook in a forest setting. The crisp and modern designs are juxtaposed against the natural beauty of the surroundings, creating a visually stunning contrast.
