Marc Jacobs Continues 40th Anniversary Celebration with Denim Tears Collaboration
It seems like Marc Jacobs is not ready to end its 40th anniversary celebrations just yet. The fashion house has been busy all year with various creative collaborations to mark this momentous occasion, including partnerships with Cactus Plant Flea Market, NIGO, and Anna Sui. And now, they are teaming up with another New York City powerhouse – Tremaine Emory’s Denim Tears – to bring a fresh, collaborative twist to their iconic Tote Bag.
The latest iteration of the Tote Bag is a sleek and stylish black and white design, made entirely from calfskin leather. Instead of the usual “The Tote Bag” lettering, it now reads “The Tears Bag” in the same font, with “Marc Jacobs” written underneath. The bag is adorned with Denim Tears’ signature cotton wreaths, adding a touch of their unique aesthetic to the classic silhouette. It also features the bag’s usual shoulder strap, internal pockets, and zip closure.
Get a closer look at Denim Tears’ take on the Tote Bag in the gallery above and be sure to grab one for yourself tomorrow, October 18, exclusively at Marc Jacobs’ official webstore.
