Sasquatchfabrix., tokyovitamin, and BEAMS’ FUTURE ARCHIVE Team Up for Eclectic Capsule Collection
Japanese fashion powerhouses Sasquatchfabrix., tokyovitamin, and BEAMS’ FUTURE ARCHIVE have joined forces to create a one-of-a-kind capsule collection that blends their unique subcultural styles. The seven-garment collection, set to launch on July 18 at Beams Harajuku Annex, features distressed graphics and sun-faded fabrics, showcasing a mix of retro activewear, graphic tees, and unconventional accessories.
A Fusion of Subcultural Ethos
In this collaboration, Sasquatchfabrix.’s bohemian vibes, tokyovitamin’s Y2k aesthetic, and FUTURE ARCHIVE’s youth culture lens come together to create a truly eclectic collection. Each brand’s distinct style is evident in the designs, resulting in a fusion of subcultural ethos that is both edgy and unique.
From Retro to Unconventional
The capsule collection offers a range of garments, from retro-inspired activewear to unconventional accessories. The color palette is rooted in a dark charcoal gray, with pops of retro yellow and orange. Distressed graphics, including ornate icons and hand-drawn illustrations, add a touch of edginess to the pieces, while tattered and sun-faded fabrics give them a vintage feel.
Standout Pieces
Among the standout pieces in the collection are the “Track Jacket” and “Track Pants,” a versatile knit set with elegant striped trim and a pinched seam for a nod to 90s fashion. The special rugby-style polo, featuring large tokyovitamin and Sasquatchfabrix patches, is a bold statement piece, while the Vitamin City ringer tee and distressed hoodie come in two colorways for added variety. The collection also includes a unique dual-color ear muff hat, which puts a twist on the classic baseball cap with a tieable fabric covering the ears.
Exclusive Launch at Beams Harajuku Annex
To celebrate the launch of this collaboration, the “Beams Harajuku Annex” will be hosting an exclusive 3-day pop-up shop from July 18. Don’t miss your chance to get your hands on these limited edition pieces from Sasquatchfabrix., tokyovitamin, and BEAMS’ FUTURE ARCHIVE.
