Community Run Clubs: The New Way to Get Fit
Running has become more than just a solo activity. Thanks to community run clubs, it has evolved into a socially-driven workout experience that is changing the game for fitness enthusiasts. Under Armour’s Infinite Elite campaign series highlights the power of these collectives as they take on new challenges together.
Meet the Runners: Hermen Dange, Yaz Johnson, and Rubi Deschamps
Under Armour’s Infinite City Circuit runners, Hermen Dange, Yaz Johnson, and Rubi Deschamps, are leading the way in showcasing the joy of community running. In Manchester, Dange takes us on a journey through his early morning session with his run club, Made Running. For Dange, the club has become more than just a workout group – it’s his second family, supporting him in achieving his fitness goals. And with over 200 members in the city, the group continues to grow in size.
From Large Collectives to Close-Knit Circles
Deschamps, on the other hand, takes a more personal approach to running. She often invites her brother and best friends to join her on runs around Liverpool. While not an official run club, her loved ones provide a light-hearted workout that takes away from the intensity of running. And with the support of Under Armour’s Infinite Elite shoes, they tackle winding routes and even show off their acrobatic skills at the end.
Pushing Personal Bests with Your Friendly Runners
In London, Johnson joins her regular running companions to take on a challenging stretch featured in the first installment of the Infinite Elite campaign. These runners, who met through the run club Your Friendly Runners, now train together to push their personal bests in preparation for half marathons. And with the enduring support of the Infinite Elite shoes and their strong bond, they continue to conquer new challenges.
