3sixteen x Saucony Peregrine 15 “Gesso” Collaboration: A Canvas for Creativity
3sixteen and Saucony have joined forces to bring us an exciting new collaboration, reinventing the Peregrine 15 trail shoe with a fresh concept called “Gesso.” Inspired by the artist’s medium used to prime canvases, this collection aims to provide a base for self-expression and personalization.
Set to drop on July 10, the first release will include two vibrant colorways: “Indigo” and “Sunflower.” But that’s not all – the full collection features four unique colorways in total, each dyed using natural materials and techniques developed in partnership with Green Matters Natural Dye Company. “Indigo” is made with GOTS-certified natural indigo, “Sunflower” is dyed with weld flowers, “Granite” is a combination of cutch, iron, and chestnut, and “Rubia” is dyed with madder root and chestnut. The result? Subtle variations and one-of-a-kind finishes that give each pair its own character.
Months of experimentation with different sneakers and fabrics have gone into perfecting the pairing of silhouette and hue. But the fun doesn’t stop there – buyers are encouraged to get creative and customize their pairs even further with coffee beans, plant-based dyes, or other natural elements. It’s not just about new shoes, but also about revamping old ones and giving them new life through personal expression and sustainable innovation.
These naturally dyed pairs will be available exclusively through 3sixteen’s official website and at their New York and Los Angeles flagship stores, retailing for $190 USD. The “Blank Canvas” version will drop on July 17, while the “Granite” and “Rubia” colorways are set to launch later in July. Don’t miss out on this unique and eco-friendly collaboration – mark your calendars for July 10 and get ready to unleash your creativity with the 3sixteen x Saucony Peregrine 15 “Gesso” collection.
