Vowels Takes Paris by Storm with “What a Day” Collection

Global fashion brand Vowels made its mark in Paris with the debut of its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, aptly named “What a Day.” The collection, a fusion of elevated basics and sophisticated menswear, showcases designer Yuki Yagi’s cross-cultural capabilities and worldly perspective. With a strong focus on craftsmanship and a nod to the brand’s key guiding principle of “Shu Ha Ri,” Vowels continues to push the boundaries and elevate its craft.

The collection, first shown in a captivating indoor-outdoor showcase in June, exemplifies Yagi’s extensive research and archive of references, merging the fashion scenes of New York City and Tokyo. The result is a true tapestry of streetwear, with a softer color palette of Matcha, Mist, Persimmon, and Lavender.

From lush silk shirts woven on a shuttle loom to simple graphics created through intensive printing processes, each piece in the collection is a testament to Vowels’ commitment to quality and innovation. The sunflower motif, a recurring theme throughout the range, adds a touch of playfulness to the more sophisticated tailored pieces.

Standout pieces include a suede Trucker Jacket in a rich green shade, lightweight Reversible Shell Jackets with bold stripes, and new iterations of the brand’s signature denim Chore Jacket. With “What a Day,” Vowels continues to honor its roots while pushing beyond them, creating a collection that is both familiar and fresh. Take a closer look at the range in the lookbook above and experience the brand’s “Shu Ha Ri” philosophy in action.
