White Mountaineering and Uniqlo Team Up for Sustainable Down Jacket Collaboration

The highly-anticipated third collaboration between White Mountaineering and Uniqlo is finally here, and this time it’s all about sustainability. The two brands have joined forces to create a down jacket made entirely from recycled materials, as part of Uniqlo’s RE.UNIQLO initiative.

The jacket is crafted from 100% recycled down, collected and cleaned from pre-owned Uniqlo outerwear. Even the padding in the sleeves is made from 100% recycled polyester. Available in three stylish Fall colors – black, burgundy, and warm charcoal – the jacket features a unique design with diamond quilting on the torso and rectangular panels on the outer sleeves.

Not only is this jacket eco-friendly, but it’s also versatile. The unisex design can be worn as a first-layer under heavier outerwear or as a standalone jacket for milder winter weather. It perfectly embodies White Mountaineering’s contemporary outdoor aesthetic and fits seamlessly into their FW24 collection.

This isn’t the first time White Mountaineering and Uniqlo have collaborated. Their previous capsule collection, released in late-September, featured liner-style pullovers and fleece hoodies. But this latest collaboration takes their partnership to a whole new level, showcasing their commitment to sustainability and creating a circular society.

The White Mountaineering x Uniqlo Recycled Down Jacket will be available exclusively on Uniqlo’s web store starting Friday, October 11. Don’t miss your chance to snag this must-have piece for your Fall wardrobe.
