Burberry Unveils Latest Campaign: “It’s Always Burberry Weather”

Burberry, the iconic British brand known for its innovation and craftsmanship, has just launched its newest campaign, “It’s Always Burberry Weather.” This collection is dedicated to protecting people from the elements, staying true to the brand’s purpose and functionality.

With over 165 years of experience, Burberry has a long-standing heritage in outerwear. From keeping explorers safe in extreme conditions to becoming a symbol of British style, the brand’s signature outerwear continues to evolve.

To celebrate this heritage, Burberry has released a comprehensive collection, accompanied by a cinematic campaign, global pop-ups, window displays, and in-store activations. The collection’s name is inspired by a slogan from the Burberry archive, referencing the durability of the brand’s garments and the unpredictable British weather. It features seven key styles: the trench, Harrington, quilt, puffer, parka, aviator, and duffle.

The campaign, shot across London and the British countryside, features a diverse range of talent from music, film, fashion, and football. Brand ambassadors such as Barry Keoghan, Zhang Jingyi, Cara Delevingne, Cole Palmer, Eberechi Eze, Little Simz, and Olivia Colman all come together to showcase the collection in a series of warm and humorous vignettes and portraits.

“Before anything else, when we were in discussions about partnering, it was very clear Burberry wanted to support my foundation as a key part of the partnership,” says Crystal Palace midfielder, Eberechi Eze, in an interview with Hypebeast. “We’ve already done our first project together and we will be doing more in the near future too, which I’m grateful for and really excited about.”

The new Burberry collection features standout pieces such as the updated trench with new B-shaped hardware and exaggerated gun flaps for added protection from the rain. The Harrington, a symbol of British subculture, is made from water-repellent gabardine and lined with the iconic Burberry Check. The Aviator has been revamped in lamb shearling with adjustable elements and B-cut zip pulls. And the Duffle, originally worn by the British Royal Navy, is now made with warm wool and cashmere and features wooden toggles carved with a B shield, a new logo motif inspired by the Equestrian Knight Design.
