Song for the Mute Unveils Two New adidas Collaborations at Paris Fashion Week
Australian fashion brand Song for the Mute has once again teamed up with adidas to present two new footwear collaborations during Paris Fashion Week. The SFTM-008, inspired by the Tokyo sneaker, and the SFTM-009, a reimagining of the Samba into the Samba LX Freizeit, are set to release in Spring/Summer 2026.
The Partnership Continues to Thrive Three Years Later
After debuting their first collaboration three years ago, Song for the Mute and adidas have returned to Paris Fashion Week to showcase their latest creations. The Australian and German duo have once again proven their strong partnership with these two new silhouettes.
SFTM-008: A Retro-Inspired Take on the Tokyo Sneaker
The SFTM-008 draws inspiration from the sneakers worn during physical education classes as a kid. It features bold color blocking and is available in nylon and mesh options. This retro-inspired design offers a unique contrast to the traditional Tokyo sneaker.
SFTM-009: A Formal Twist on the Samba
The SFTM-009 takes the classic Samba and gives it a formal twist with the Samba LX Freizeit. This silhouette features a derby-like sole unit and a stitched leather upper in rich brown and black leather options. It’s a reinvention of formal school shoes with a touch of adidas style.
Release Details Still to Come
At this time, there is no official release date for the SFTM-008 and SFTM-009 sneakers. Both Song for the Mute and adidas have yet to provide any firm details, but it’s expected that they will be available in Spring/Summer 2026. Keep an eye out for updates and a closer look at each pair, as they will be available through Song for the Mute, adidas, and select retailers worldwide.
