London-based designer Kiko Kostadinov wowed audiences at Paris Fashion Week with his Spring/Summer 2026 collection, which tells the story of a single day on a secluded, imagined island. The collection, intentionally distanced from external trends, immerses viewers in the distinct rhythms of everyday life on a self-contained island.
The show’s staging mirrored the progression of time, with lighting shifts tracing the hours and garments appearing in a gentle, sequential flow. This unhurried reveal allowed the collection’s diverse materials to truly command attention.
A Focus on Diverse Fabrics and Specialist Treatments
The collection features a range of fabrics, including light twill, textured mesh, and kasuri cotton, all processed with specialist treatments. Kostadinov also introduces new fabric bags inspired by Bulgarian tradition and brings back ASICS tabi runners with a gradient finish.

The morning’s tranquility is captured in relaxed and elegant pieces, featuring silhouettes reminiscent of Bulgarian military pyjamas. As the day progresses, the collection transitions into functional workwear, showcasing technical stretch twill trousers, shorts, and jackets, as well as denim two-pieces and cotton jumpsuits. The narrative then builds towards the sophistication of evening attire, with ruched and cropped blazers, deeply pleated trousers, and long coats featuring K-dart construction.
