New Balance Drops Another Eye-Catching Hybrid Sneaker: The 1890

The American sportswear brand is at it again with their latest hybrid design, the 1890. This new model, which draws inspiration from the Clarks Wallabee, features a unique build that is sure to turn heads.

Senior marketing manager Lee Stuart gave us a sneak peek at the 1890, showcasing its standout features. The shoe boasts a yellow colorway with snakeskin overlays and a black sole, giving it a bold and edgy look.

Following the success of last year’s 1906L sneaker loafer, New Balance is back with another hybrid design that is sure to make a statement. The 1890 is a perfect blend of style and functionality, with its runner-inspired sole unit and ABZORB cushioning providing both comfort and support.

Subtle branding can be found on the shoe, with a small “N” callout below the lacing system and an “ABZORB” nod at the lateral heel. The model name, “1890,” is also featured on the white sockliner.

While there is no official release date yet, we can expect the 1890 to hit shelves within the next year. Keep an eye out for updates and a closer look at this new silhouette, which will likely be available at select stockists and New Balance stores.

Don’t miss out on this must-have sneaker that combines the best of both worlds. Stay tuned for more information on the release of the New Balance 1890.
