In an exclusive interview with the Wall Street Journal, Blazy shared his vision for the brand’s new scents. “I said at meeting one, I don’t want to have anything gendered – zero,” he stated. “For me, in the world we live in, it doesn’t make sense.” This forward-thinking approach challenges traditional notions of gender identity and caters to the evolving preferences of younger consumers.

While the scents represent a new direction for the brand, they also pay homage to Bottega Veneta’s Veneto heritage. Fragrance notes such as Italian Bergamot, Geranium from Madagascar, and Myrrh from Somalia reflect the diverse cultural influences of the brand’s home. The bottles themselves are a work of art, inspired by traditional Venetian glassblowing techniques and crafted with an innovative process that recreates the unique air bubbles found in hand-blown Murano pieces.
