Balenciaga Takes Paris Fashion Week by Storm with Star-Studded Banquet for Summer 2025 Show
Paris Fashion Week was in for a treat as Balenciaga presented its Summer 2025 collection in a spectacular banquet setting. The show was attended by A-list celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Future, Katy Perry, and Lindsay Lohan, making it a star-studded affair that was not to be missed.
The mastermind behind the collection, designer Demna, shared that his love for fashion started at a young age, with him creating and showcasing his own designs on his kitchen table. This show was a full circle moment for him, reconnecting him to his early vision and paying tribute to fashion with a unique point of view.
The front-row guests were treated to a full course of Balenciaga’s finest on the longest dining table ever seen. Demna’s manifesto was ultra-subversive, with glittering lingerie paired with fur coats, puffer jackets layered over low-rise trousers, and denim pants repurposed as jacket lapels. The brand’s iconic imagery was displayed on models’ iPhones, while chargers were neatly tucked on the exteriors of bags and hats were turned down for anonymity.
The show closed with a stunning black satin gown, a signature look from Demna, before Britney Spears’ “Gimme More” abruptly ended the show and guests were on their way. Demna’s message was clear – he’s not here to waste anyone’s time, but to push fashion forward into the future.
