Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GEL-TERRAIN Launches Waterproof Models for 2025
Get ready for the future of fashion with the latest collaboration between Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen and ASICS. Following the success of their GEL-TERRAIN launch in September, Bahnsen has given us a sneak peek at their new waterproof models set to drop in 2025.
In her SS25 Paris runway show, Bahnsen showcased two ASICS pairs that combine performance design with her signature delicate style. The first pair features a silver colorway with Bahnsen’s modern flower print quilted and appliquéd onto the uppers. Bungee laces add a tactical touch to the slim shape, making them both functional and fashionable.
The second pair boasts a special raincoat-like outer layer secured by a zipper over the tongue. The translucent upper reveals silver overlays and is printed with glossy navy blue flowers. Both models also feature a sock collar for added protection from the elements.
In a recent interview with Hypebeast, Bahnsen hinted at the brand’s upcoming waterproof project, and these sneakers definitely deliver. Along with the ASICS collaboration, the designer also previewed her SS25 collection with The North Face. The line includes monochromatic shell outerwear with floral prints and scalloped hems, staying true to Bahnsen’s contemporary Danish heritage.
