Donald Glover, the multi-talented creative force behind Childish Gambino and Atlanta, has once again brought his dreams to life with his debut Moncler Genius collection. The collection, titled Gilga Farm x Moncler, features a vibrant and eclectic mix of Moncler’s iconic silhouettes.
The collection is now available for purchase, and it’s clear that Glover’s design process was heavily influenced by his own creative collective, Gilga Farm. The collection exudes a Southern California summer vibe, with pops of bright orange and other bold colors.
But don’t be fooled by the eye-catching hues – functionality is at the heart of this collaboration. Glover explains that both Gilga Farm and Moncler prioritize creating products that are useful in the real world. This is evident in the hero piece of the collection, a duvet jacket that can transform into a sleeping bag.
The collection also includes other jacket styles, such as a suede jacket with a Gilga Farm patch and lightweight windbreakers. And for footwear, the duo has created a collaborative version of the Moncler Trailgrip Vela sandal, featuring a sturdy Vibram sole.
Even Moncler’s beloved mascot, Monduck, has been reimagined as a farmer for this collection.
