Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” Drops in Two Colorways

Get ready sneakerheads, because the highly anticipated Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” is finally here. The collaboration, which was first teased earlier this year, features two colorways: Particle Grey/Neutral Grey/Sapphire/Black/Coconut Milk/White and Particle Grey/Neutral Grey/Cyber/Black/Coconut Milk/White. Both colorways boast a sleek grey textile upper with pops of vibrant Sapphire and Cyber accents on the overlays and midsole. But the real standout feature of these kicks is the black mudguard, which has been designed to mimic the fluid motion of waves. And let’s not forget the lenticular Air Max logo, which changes from “Air Max” to “Patta” at different angles. These kicks also come with Patta branded insoles and a special custom box for the release.

Second Colorway of Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” Unveiled

Just when you thought the Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” couldn’t get any better, a second colorway has been revealed. This time, the kicks feature “Cyber” green detailing, as seen in a preview by artist Odumodublvck. Similar to the first colorway, the mudguard has been redesigned to resemble waves, with Patta branding on the tongue and lateral window. Odumodublvck also gave us a sneak peek at the matching co-branded apparel that will be dropping alongside the shoes this summer. The kicks are expected to retail for $150 USD and will be available on Nike SNKRS and select retailers worldwide.

Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” Inspired by Iconic Air Max 1 “Waves”

Patta and Nike have been a dynamic duo for over a decade, and their latest collaboration is proof of their enduring partnership. The Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” draws inspiration from the iconic Air Max 1 “Waves” colorways that were released in 2021. The upcoming Air Max 90 project features a new black mudguard that mimics the wave-like shape of the AM1 project. The colorway itself boasts a silver upper with hits of black, blue, and off-white on the midsole. The tongue tag also features blue Patta branding. While there is no official release date yet, we can expect these kicks to drop sometime next year on Nike SNKRS and select retailers worldwide. Stay tuned for updates and official imagery.
