First Look: Stone Island Marina x New Balance Numeric 272 Sneaker

Last week, we got a sneak peek at the upcoming collaboration between Stone Island Marina and New Balance Numeric. Now, the two brands have officially unveiled their joint project with exclusive in-hand imagery. The design comes in three colorways – white, blue, and yellow – and features a vulcanized construction with an engineered outsole. The upper is a combination of suede and light-reactive poly canvas, with reactivity at the lateral midfoot’s “N” logo. The heel boasts rubberized Stone Island Marina branding and a New Balance Numeric callout in blue. Each pair also comes with a co-branded dry bag and signal whistle. Fans can sign up for the sale now on Stone Island’s website, with the release date set for June 18.

Stone Island and New Balance Team Up for a Nautical-Inspired Collaboration

Stone Island and New Balance have a long-standing partnership, with at least two footwear collaborations released each year. In March, they dropped a “Raso Gommato” colorway of the 998 sneaker, and now they’re back with another collaboration. This time, they’ve brought together Stone Island Marina, the nautical-inspired diffusion line, and New Balance Numeric, the skate crew. The result is a unique take on the Numeric 272 sneaker, featuring a split upper with gray suede on the lower level and white textile on the upper. The medial side boasts two ventilation eyelets, while the lateral side features a gray “N” logo. The textured tongue is adorned with Stone Island Marina branding, and the heel features callouts to both brands in blue. The release date for this collaboration has yet to be announced, but fans can expect to see it available soon through Stone Island, New Balance, and select retailers.
