Loro Piana Celebrates 100 Years with a Luxurious Linen Collection
This year, Loro Piana is honoring its century-long legacy by reimagining its classic designs, materials, and techniques in a modern way. The luxury Italian brand has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, featuring a stunning range of garments that showcase the versatility and beauty of linen.
Known for its exquisite fabrics, Loro Piana acquired heritage textile maison Solbiati ten years ago and continues to push the boundaries of linen in fashion. In this season’s collection, the brand experiments with blending linen with other heirloom fibers, resulting in unique and textured pieces.
The iconic Spagna jacket, with its collarless silhouette and heavy tweed-like weave, is a standout piece in the collection. Paired with a matching linen overcoat, trousers, and chambray shirt, the brown hues create a soft and wearable look for any occasion.
Other highlights include a knitted blazer and cardigans made from a luxurious cashmere-linen blend, adding a touch of sophistication to the collection. The brand also introduces pops of yellow and red in the form of suede bombers and a nautical anorak, adding dimension and color to the overall aesthetic.
For a classic summer look, Loro Piana offers Bermuda shorts and a workwear-inspired shirt in a sleek denim fabric. And to complete the look, the collection includes a range of accessories such as felt fedoras, knitted beanies, and linen bags, as well as leather sandals, loafers, and lace-ups for a touch of gentlemanly style.
The SS25 collection is currently being showcased at Milan Fashion Week, with a special installation titled “All About Linen” at Palazzo Belgioioso. The exhibition features a linen-cloaked room adorned with tapestries and artworks by Adriana Meunié, as well as a display of the world’s finest linen blend: Nm110. Fans can also visit the brand’s newsstand on Via Dei Giardini, which offers gifts and treats inspired by the collection’s dedicated fabric.
