Adrian Appiolaza: The Man Behind Moschino’s Rejuvenation

Get ready to have some fun with Moschino’s latest collection, courtesy of creative director Adrian Appiolaza. The fashion guru made his Moschino debut earlier this year at Milan Fashion Week Men’s in June, and now he’s back with a second womenswear line that’s all about carefree attitude and playful designs.

Shimmering beats and freshly tumbled white laundry set the scene for Moschino’s Spring/Summer 2025 show. The first few looks featured pure white dresses with enhanced movement, setting the tone for the rest of the collection. Appiolaza then brought in some fun and whimsy with polka-dotted ensembles, printed sailor uniforms, and smart trench coats with faux buttons.

But the real showstopper was Moschino’s signature loud extravagance, with jumbo-sized branding and scribbled lettering adorning the garments. Oversized T-shirt dresses with “THINK” scriptures and cropped motorcycle jackets exuded rebellion, while all-black looks added a touch of elevated elegance with pearled corsets, post-it-stamped dresses, and smiley face accessories.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any more playful, Appiolaza introduced fringed gear, lettered gowns, and lightweight maxi skirts paired with leather briefcases and clear eyewear. The collection was completed with “GET HAPPY” outerwear and cord-tied exposed uniforms, leaving no doubt that Moschino is all about spreading joy and positivity.
