SIWILAI Collaborates with Hajime Sorayama for Latest “Permanent Vacation” Tee
In celebration of its 10-year anniversary, Bangkok-based multi-brand store SIWILAI has announced its newest addition to the “Permanent Vacation: Friends of Siwilai” series – a collaboration with renowned artist and long-time collaborator Hajime Sorayama.
The collection, which has previously featured collaborations with DR. WOO, Jun Takahashi of UNDERCOVER, and Haroshi, showcases a range of notable collaborators who each bring their unique touch to the brand.
The latest tee shirt with Sorayama features a graphic of four of the artist’s signature “Sexy Robots” accompanied by a robotic cat. While most of Sorayama’s work is known for its erotic nature, these robots are modestly dressed in comparison, seemingly posing for a group photo. The group is set against a vibrant pink background, with details that pay homage to Sorayama’s iconic airbrush techniques.
Unlike previous “Permanent Vacation” tee shirts, which were available in both black and white, this specific tee will only be released in a black colorway, adding to the pop of the pink backdrop. The tee also features co-branding elements at the back, with “SIWILAI” written in Sorayama’s signature font.
The tee shirt will be available for purchase starting September 20 at a retail price of ฿2,890 THB (approximately $86 USD) exclusively at the SIWILAI Store in Bangkok, Thailand.
