Stone Island Ghost: The Ultimate Collection for Fall/Winter 2024
Stone Island Ghost has always been a hub for the most cutting-edge designs from the Italian brand, and their latest Fall/Winter 2024 release is no exception. The Stone Island x New Balance 991v2 “Ghost” is leading the pack, with a range of garments that are even more gorp-ier than before, as seen on architect and designer Philippe Starck.
Continuing with their “Community as a Form of Research” theme, the collection features a lineup of monochromatic outerwear, with a focus on jackets that match the core ethos and colorway of the New Balance 991v2 “Ghost.” According to Stone Island’s Instagram caption, “Ghost pieces are based on the concept of camouflage and are totally monochromatic.” In the lookbook, Starck rocks the hero piece of the collection, the 710F2 Performance Twill Wool-TC hooded parka, which even features a monochromatic Stone Island badge. Made from Merino worsted wool twill, the jacket is coated with a wind-resistant resin on the interior, padded with feathers, and treated to withstand the garment dying process. The hood is split down the middle into two halves, and there are slanted snap-closure pockets on the chest. More pockets can be found further down the silhouette, with a two-way zip hidden under the placket to complete the piece.
The release also includes a variety of other tactical jackets, as seen on actor Russell Tovey, such as the Suede Sheepskin jacket, Heavy Melton jacket, and Twill Wool Down jacket.
