The Basement and New Balance Team Up for Latest Collaboration
The Basement, a renowned tastemaker in the global scene, has once again joined forces with New Balance for their newest collaboration. This time, they have reworked the classic New Balance 1906R silhouette, resulting in two striking colorways: “Day Chrome” and “Night Chrome.”
Known for their ability to connect with the youth through various mediums such as music, fashion, and art, The Basement has also established strong relationships with major players like New Balance and Nike. This has been well-received by their loyal community members, who appreciate the brand’s commitment to their core values.
The new collaboration features eye-catching details such as a heel cage, patent high-shine silver paneling, and reflective mesh. The shoes also boast a new-gen technical toggled lacing system, making them both stylish and functional. The Basement’s branding can be seen embossed on the outer lateral panel, as well as tonal reflective printing on the tongue and heel tab. In a nod to the brand, the traditional ‘N’ has been replaced with a ‘B’ on the lace loop.
