Palace Skateboards Drops Seventh Collection with PORTER-YOSHIDA CO.
It’s been a few weeks since the new Palace season kicked off, and the UK-based skate brand is not slowing down. With fall in full swing, Palace is back with its seventh drop of the season, and this time they’ve teamed up with the iconic Japanese bag accessories brand PORTER-YOSHIDA CO. for their second collaboration.
The main highlight of this collection is the jacquard weave, which can be seen throughout the apparel and accessories pieces. PORTER’s signature black and olive color waves are merged with their iconic orange nylon lining in the weave pattern, adding a unique detail to the bags.
But it’s not just bags in this collection. Palace has also added newer styles like the tanker field jacket, vest, and matching belted trousers, all featuring zip and side pocket details and co-branded with the Palace and Porter logos. These pieces give the collection a travel-ready aesthetic.
Of course, Palace’s staple items like hoodies and t-shirts are also included in the collaboration, featuring the co-branded logos in the thematic olive, orange, black, and white color scheme.
But that’s not all – the collection also includes new bag accessories in the black and olive jacquard, such as backpacks, waist bags, mini shoulder bags, wallets, and caps. And for the skaters, there are two new boards to choose from.
The latest Palace drop will be released first on September 20 at 12pm CET via Palace and DSM in the UK and EU. It will then drop at 11am EDT in the US, with the LA store and DSM LA hosting their drops at 11am PDT. Japan and South Korea’s drop is scheduled for 11am JST on September 21, while China’s WeChat drop will occur an hour later at 11am CST on the same day.
