Chinese Label MITHRIDATE Takes London Fashion Week by Storm with Vibrant Asian-Inspired Collection

The highly-anticipated London Fashion Week has just announced the addition of Chinese label MITHRIDATE to its official schedule. The brand, known for its celebration of Asian culture, will be showcasing its Spring/Summer 2025 collection in a show-stopping display of its Southwest Chinese roots.

Creative director Demon Zhang pays homage to her birthplace with a stunning “Flower Kingdom” theme, drawing inspiration from Yunnan’s bustling flower trade. The collection bursts with bold primary colors, as thousands of spherical pom-poms adorn the pieces, showcasing MITHRIDATE’s love for the great outdoors.

Zhang’s designs not only showcase her community, but also honor her family’s traditions through intricate prints, patterns, and embroidery techniques. The collection opens with a display of maturity, featuring boxy silhouettes embellished with beaded floral details.

Texture is a key element in the collection, as seen in ruffled formalwear with sheer panels and structured fringed dresses with lace accents. The brand’s signature tie-dye patterns take center stage, adding a playful touch to enflamed bomber jackets, gashed tops, and ringed suiting in vibrant shades of pink, purple, red, and orange.
