A$AP Rocky and PUMA Drop New Images of Pre-Distressed Inhale OG
Get ready sneakerheads, because A$AP Rocky and PUMA have just released some fresh images of their latest collaboration: the pre-distressed Inhale OG. Originally launched in 2000, this vintage running shoe was brought back to life by the dynamic duo last May as part of their Formula 1 partnership.
The new version stays true to the original aerodynamic silhouette that was released earlier this year. But this time, they’ve added a hyperrealistic patina to the design, giving the shoe a worn and torn finish. The uppers are made of a khaki twill material that appears to be undyed, adding to the vintage aesthetic.
But that’s not all – the bold red arch bandage has been replaced with a beige upper featuring varying tones. And to really drive home the aged look, the soles have been yellowed and black skid marks have been added. Plus, on the tongue, you’ll find an embroidered red “Flacko” logo peeking out.
It’s no surprise that the rapper chose PUMA to supply the footwear for his recent AWGE Paris Fashion Week runway show, “American Sabotage.” The Inhale OG perfectly complements his line, which features a range of worn-in and disheveled looks.
