AARON ESH: The Rising Star of British Fashion

British fashion designer AARON ESH continues to make waves in the industry, showcasing his dark and sensual aesthetic while constantly evolving his design language. As a finalist for the prestigious LVMH Prize and recipient of the 2024/25 NEWGEN award, ESH hosted his third runway show in London on Saturday evening, celebrating the country’s talent, diversity, and energy.

For his Spring/Summer 2025 collection, ESH blends the old with the new, drawing inspiration from iconic designers like Alexander McQueen and Maison Margiela. This collection marks a turning point in his career, solidifying his fashion house as the next big thing and stealing the spotlight at London Fashion Week.

In a nod to his mentor and stylist Katy England, ESH looked to her extensive archive for inspiration and also paid tribute to his artist residency at the Sarabande Foundation. But his SS25 collection is more than just a tribute – it’s a statement. ESH creates handmade garments that evolve and change with time, adding a unique touch to each piece.

The runway was filled with dynamic leather suiting, featuring hidden suede panels, and flowing silk dresses that were all sewn by hand. Draped silk shirting with frayed edges and integrated thumb straps added a pre-worn effect, while sheer tank tops were adorned with glossy ribbons for added flair. Buttoned leather trousers could be opened for dual styling, and high-shine cropped blazers in velvet left a lasting impression.

AARON ESH has proven that he is ahead of his time, and we can’t wait to see what he does next. Check out his SS25 collection in the gallery above and stay tuned for more London Fashion Week coverage on Hypebeast.
