New York Fashion Week: The Aftermath
The dust has settled and the runways have been cleared, but the buzz from New York Fashion Week is still going strong. As the fashion crowd begins to share their photo dumps on social media, we can’t help but feel a sense of excitement for what’s to come.
Renowned photographer Vincenzo Dimino has once again captured the essence of the week in his signature swipe-able recap. This time, he was on the ground at all the shows, presentations, parties, and events, exclusively for Hypebeast and Hypebae.
“I’m thrilled to bring my latest snapshot series to HYPEBEAST and HYPEBAE this year,” Dimino shared. “My latest series showcases spontaneous moments with some of the industry’s biggest icons, including the one and only Rihanna.”
Despite having covered New York Fashion Week multiple times, Dimino’s love for film photography and its ability to capture the true essence of his subjects remains unwavering. “No matter how many times I run this circuit, I’ll never stop loving the simplicity of film photography and how it heightens the subject in a truly organic way,” he explained.
For this project, Dimino focused on highlighting trailblazers in the fashion space and creating something iconic and timeless in an ever-evolving industry. Armed with his trusty Fujifilm Instax Mini 99, he ran around the city from shows and presentations to parties and celebrations, capturing all the magic in a new set of 83 snapshots.
From Rihanna’s surprise appearance at the Daily Front Row Awards to Jisoo’s crowd-pleasing arrival at the Tommy Hilfiger show, Bella Hadid’s horse-riding escapades at Adan Banuelo’s film premiere, and A$AP Ferg’s front-row foray at LaQuan Smith, Dimino’s snapshots capture all the must-see moments of the week.
