British Designer Daniel Lee to Debut Fourth Runway Collection at Burberry’s Summer 2025 Showcase
Get ready, fashion lovers! The highly anticipated Burberry Summer 2025 showcase is just around the corner, and it’s set to be a showstopper. British designer Daniel Lee, who has been at the helm of Burberry since 2018, will be unveiling his fourth runway collection on Monday afternoon at London’s National Theatre. This marks the first time the iconic venue will host the event, adding an extra level of excitement to the already buzz-worthy occasion.
Scheduled on the final day of London Fashion Week, Burberry’s Summer 2025 showcase will continue to push the boundaries of Lee’s limitless vision for the brand. And if the set design is anything to go by, it’s going to be a feast for the eyes. Burberry has teamed up with renowned English artist Gary Hume to create an original set design that will transport attendees into a world of color and creativity.
Hume’s abstract artwork and Bays painting exhibit, first presented in 1990, have served as the main source of inspiration for the set design. The runway will feature splashes of vibrant hues and pay homage to Hume’s iconic painting in a grandiose form. The artist, who has recently resurfaced in the modernist art scene, is thrilled to collaborate with Burberry on this project.
“When Daniel approached me for this collaboration, I was surprised he was even aware of the Bays installation, as it was work I made a long time ago that hasn’t been seen much,” says Hume. “It’s such an honor to work with him on this show and design the set for such an iconic brand at an iconic venue.”
Burberry’s partnership with Hume is a testament to the brand’s commitment to championing both young and established artists in the UK. In the past, they have collaborated with the likes of Sarah Lucas and John Akomfrah, further solidifying their support for the arts community.
Don’t miss out on this epic fashion event! Burberry’s Summer 2025 collection will be unveiled on September 16 at 4:00 p.m. BST inside the National Theatre in London. Trust us, you won’t want to miss it.
