Dsquared2 Unveils Resort 2026 Collection: A Rebellious Ode to the ’50s and ’70s
Canadian twin designers Dean and Dan Caten, the masterminds behind the provocative and sex-appealing fashion label Dsquared2, have once again pushed the boundaries with their latest menswear collection for Resort 2026. Inspired by icons of freedom and rebellion from the ’50s and ’70s, the line takes us on a journey through the lens of a familiar setting for youthful mischief: the bathroom.
The lookbook showcases a fusion of preppy classics and bad-boy staples, with luxurious knits, linen shirts, and denim monogram bombers alongside leather coats, distressed denim trousers, and ’70s motorcycle boots. The collection also features two collaborations, one with the iconic Smiley symbol and the other with photographer Tom Bianchi, whose vintage Polaroid images from Fire Island adorn Dsquared2’s signature hoodies, T-shirts, bags, and swimwear.
But just when you think the rebellious spirit has taken over, the “coolest teacher on campus” makes an appearance, reminding us of the designers’ impeccable tailoring with his slick and sophisticated suits. With a knowing wink, he sends the troublemakers back to class, but not before sharing a summertime memory and bumming a cigarette.
