ANDAM Fashion Awards 2025 Finalists Announced
The highly anticipated finalists for the prestigious ANDAM Fashion Awards 2025 Grand and Special Prizes have been revealed. Among the five talented designers vying for the top honors are Willy Chavarria, EGONlab, Alain Paul, Meryll Rogge, and Zomer.
The winners will be announced at the 2025 ANDAM Fashion Award ceremony, which will take place on June 20 at 7pm CEST. This year’s event is sure to be a star-studded affair, following the successful debut of American menswear label Willy Chavarria at Paris Fashion Week in January to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Joining Chavarria in the running for the Grand and Special Prizes is French menswear label EGONlab, which previously won the prestigious Pierre Bergé Prize in 2021. Three women’s designers have also made the cut: Alain Paul, Meryll Rogge, and Zomer.
Founded in 1989 by Nathalie Dufour in collaboration with the French Ministry of Culture, ANDAM (National Association for the Development of the Fashion Arts) was created as an incubator and accolade for emerging designers in the French and international fashion scene.
The first recipient of the ANDAM fellowship was none other than Martin Margiela in 1989, setting a strong precedent for the organization’s legacy. Over the years, other notable winners have included Christopher Lemaire of Lemaire in 1990 and Jean Touitou of A.P.C. in 1992. In recent years, the organization has recognized contemporary names such as 3.Paradis, Bianca Saunders, Botter, Y/Project, and Marine Serre.
Speaking about this year’s selection, Dufour stated, “Whether they are just starting out or already established, the need for financial support is crucial for the longevity of these designers. The chosen finalists also offer a diverse range of economic models, showcasing the different strategies and approaches that can lead to success in a highly competitive industry, such as B2C strategies, niche positioning, and eco-friendly practices.”
