LeBron James Drops His 22nd Signature Shoe with Nike: The TR1 Trainer

As the NBA season approaches, LeBron James is gearing up for his 22nd year in the league and his 22nd entry in his iconic Nike LeBron line. While he has released basketball models outside of his main franchise, he is now expanding his partnership with Nike in a new direction with his first training shoe – the Nike LeBron TR1 (Trainer 1).

First Look: Nike Unveils LeBron James’ New Training Shoe

Rumored to be in the works since last year, the TR1 was first spotted during James’ historic run at the Olympic Games. Now, with official images of the new trainer released, Nike has officially announced the sneaker. The TR1 boasts an ergonomic and lightweight design, with a unique inverted waffle outsole for optimal movement and a glove-like bootie to combat foot swelling during training.

Designed for the Athlete in Pursuit of Greatness

According to James, the TR1 is made for athletes who are constantly striving for greatness and putting in the work day in and day out. As someone who values training as a crucial part of his journey, James believes this shoe is perfect for any workout, anytime, anywhere.

Release Dates and Colorways

The TR1 will debut in a gray and neon green “Dunk Man” colorway on September 19, available on Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $130 USD. A monochromatic “Zero Dark 30” version will follow on October 10, with a “Purple Rain” colorway dropping on October 23, the day after the NBA resumes play for the 2024-25 season. Finally, an orange “Better With Age” edition will hit shelves on November 11. Don’t miss out on this highly anticipated release from LeBron James and Nike.
