A$AP Rocky Takes Over NYC Nightclub with Exclusive AWGE Tailor Shop and Ray-Ban Collaboration
When it comes to fashion and nightlife, A$AP Rocky knows how to make a statement. The rapper and fashion icon recently opened the doors to an exclusive atelier inside one of New York City’s hottest nightclubs, Jean’s NYC.
After turning heads on the Met Gala red carpet as a co-chair, Rocky teamed up with Ray-Ban to bring the AWGE Tailor Shop to life for a one-night-only event. The tailor shop, located in a custom-built storefront, transported guests into a 1940s-inspired space, showcasing the latest, unreleased AWGE collection.
The star of the collection? The Ray-Ban Wayfarer Puffer, a limited edition frame crafted in Italy specifically for this occasion. These frames feature an oversized 18kt gold logo, 0.50 to 1.30 carats of natural diamonds and gemstones, and four diamond-set rivets on the front.
Rocky himself sported a premium version of the Wayfarer Puffer, made from 200 grams of 18kt white gold and adorned with 60 carats of natural diamonds and red gemstones. And he wasn’t the only notable guest in attendance.
The star-studded event was attended by the likes of Rihanna, Maluma, Megan Thee Stallion, Sabrina Carpenter, Adrien Brody, Shaboozey, Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, Jenna Ortega, Dapper Dan, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Julia Fox.
