Nike Takes Football Inspiration to the Next Level with the Cortez SE and Killshot 2 “Tiempo”
Nike is back at it again, pushing the boundaries of design and style with their latest releases. This time, they’re taking inspiration from the world of football and incorporating it into two of their most iconic models: the Cortez and Killshot 2.
Design Details
The Nike Cortez SE and Killshot 2 “Tiempo” are both elevated by their fold over tongues, featuring an embossed swoosh in either white or black. But that’s not all – these shoes are packed with premium details that set them apart from the rest.
Cortez SE
The Cortez SE boasts premium leather uppers with double stitched panel divides, giving it a unique and luxurious look. Additional branding can be found on the white panel swoosh, half-hidden tongue tag, special silver insoles, and embossed “72” and check insignias on the heel. The shoe is finished off with a black midsole and herringbone gum outsole, tied together with white laces.
Killshot 2
The Killshot 2 features sleek chrome uppers that give it a more minimalistic look, with a stitched panel check for added detail. Similar branding can be found on this silhouette, with the exception of embroidered logos on the heel. The shoe also boasts a gum midsole and outsole for extra traction, with black laces to complete the cohesive design.
