Last year, adidas Originals and Brain Dead joined forces to create a unique version of the iconic adidas Stan Smith sneaker. The collaboration was a hit, and now the Los Angeles-based streetwear brand is teaming up with adidas once again for a full Spring/Summer 2025 collection that puts a fresh spin on the classic adidas Forest Hills silhouette.
Tennis culture is at the heart of this collection, with Brain Dead and adidas aiming to challenge the traditional look and feel associated with the sport and country club culture. The standout piece of the collection is the revamped Forest Hills silhouette, originally released in 1976 as the lightest tennis shoe of its time. Inspired by aerospace engineering, the shoe weighs just 8.7 ounces and features a unique ventilation system.
The Forest Hills sneaker is presented in a two-toned design, with a hairy suede upper, leather stripes, and co-branded details. The apparel in the collection follows suit, with graphic track tops, crewnecks, and t-shirts, as well as polos, shorts, and track pants.
