West Village Menswear Imprint Cueva Gets a Fresh New Look

Just a few weeks ago, the popular menswear store Cueva in the West Village closed its doors for a full-scale renovation. But fear not, fashion lovers, because the store is back and better than ever. Located on tucked-away Christopher Street, Cueva is one of the only brick-and-mortar stores in the city that carries the coveted brand Our Legacy. And now, it’s back in business at the same historic location with a brand-new set-up.

The brand announced its return on Instagram, declaring “Same address, new energy.” And boy, do they mean it. The store has undergone a complete transformation, debuting a clean and cozy new design at its subterranean location. Cueva’s curator and owner, Justin Felizzari, worked closely with Juntos Projects to create the new space, aiming to “mirror the eclectic mix of international brands the store is known for” in the interior design. From Copenhagen to Japan, the store carries a range of brands including 032c, A Kind of Guise, Engineered Garments, NN.07, Metalwood Studio, and N. HOOLYWOOD.

“Cueva is designed to feel like a discovery – an unexpected treasure tucked away beneath the West Village, much like the brands it carries,” explains a press release. And with a custom-built seating nook that encourages conversation, community is at the core of the new Cueva store. While the space has a refreshed new energy, it also pays homage to its former facade with the original store’s painting hanging above the conversation nook. The interior is lined with airy almond walls and features striking sky blue-walled fitting rooms nestled in the back of the store.

Take a closer look at the new Cueva interior in the gallery above and be sure to stop by the store at its new address: 86 Christopher Street, New York, New York 10014. Trust us, you won’t want to miss it.
