Original Story: Brace yourselves, sneakerheads, because Devin Booker is about to drop his first signature shoe with Nike later this year. As we eagerly await the December launch date, Booker has been teasing us with glimpses of what’s to come. The latest teaser is the Nike Book 1 in a “Moss Point” colorway, a nod to his alma mater, Moss Point High School. The color scheme is inspired by the corner store that Booker used to frequent during his school days. The shoe features a similar hue to the Devin Booker x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Moss Point,” which was originally released in 2019. Like the AF1, his signature shoe boasts a subtle cerulean leather upper with gunmetal suede accents at the heel guard. The shades have a pearly finish on the sole, while the metallic heel is embroidered with the phrases “Yes Ma’am” and “No Sir,” paying homage to Booker’s Southern roots. The heel tag also features “96,” a nod to his birth year. The Nike Book 1 in the signature vivid orange colorway is set to drop in December as the first release, with a limited run of only 500 pairs.
