MoneyGram Haas F1 Team Celebrates Japan’s Cherry Blossom Season with Special Sakura-Themed Livery for 2025 Japanese Grand Prix

The iconic cherry blossom season in Japan is being honored by the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team with a stunning sakura-themed livery on their VF-25 car for the upcoming 2025 Japanese Grand Prix. This custom design, paying tribute to the country’s beloved spring flower, will be prominently displayed throughout race week at the legendary Suzuka Circuit, both on the car and across the team’s digital platforms.

The Japanese Grand Prix, now a spring fixture on the Formula 1 calendar, is set to return to the high-speed, figure-of-eight Suzuka Circuit. Known for its technical demands and passionate fans, this track is a favorite among drivers. After a strong showing in Shanghai, where Esteban Ocon and rookie Oliver Bearman finished fifth and eighth, respectively, the team is looking to continue their momentum at Suzuka.

“This is one of the most challenging circuits we visit all season,” said Team Principal Ayao Komatsu. “We’re coming in with both confidence and realism, knowing that our car still has some issues to overcome.”

Ocon, who has a best finish of fourth place at Suzuka, has called it his favorite track. He praised its history, layout, and enthusiastic supporters. Bearman, who will be making his Suzuka debut, has already tested there with Super Formula in late 2024 and is eager to return.

“The track comes alive, and the fan support is next level – even during a test,” said Bearman.

Notably, this unique livery marks the first custom design of the 2025 F1 season and will make its official debut this Sunday, April 6. Fans can catch a glimpse of the stunning sakura-themed car in action during the Japanese Grand Prix.
