Loro Piana Takes Inspiration from the Equestrian World for FW25-26 Collection

Loro Piana, the renowned Italian Maison, has always been known for drawing inspiration from the natural world in their designs. This season, they turn their attention to the world of horse riding, creating a complete ready-to-wear collection inspired by the classic equestrian uniform.

The Fall/Winter 2025-26 range features a range of staple outdoor outfits, including hunting jackets, parkas, and quilted liners. These pieces have been slightly refined to fit modern wardrobes, with their original tight-fit, riding-ready silhouettes reconstructed into a more relaxed, boxier shape. The collection is completed with beige jodhpurs or tapered merino wool bottoms, paired with the signature knee-high boots.

In addition to these equestrian-inspired pieces, Loro Piana also offers versatile everyday wear in the form of plush bomber jackets, high-neck blazers, and long-line coats. These pieces are crafted from soft-touch materials such as wool-blend cheviot and suede, adding texture to the largely brown-toned collection. The House’s signature luxury fabrics also allow for easy layering with cardigans and knit polo tops.

For the first time, Loro Piana has reworked their iconic Spagna jacket into a cape, available in two colorways. This piece pairs perfectly with their wide-brimmed hats and is a stylish addition to any race day outfit. The collection also includes three-piece suits and satin jackets for black-tie occasions.

To showcase the collection, Loro Piana will be hosting a special presentation at their headquarters during Milan Fashion Week. The space will be designed to reflect the material journey of their garment creation. Additionally, their Kiosk fixture will be returning to Via dei Giardini, where they will be giving out postcards featuring their iconic ’90s advertising campaigns.
