Green explains, “Our goal for this project was to respectfully challenge the original Joke design in order to create something both forward-looking and practical.”

Utilizing ECCO’s Apparition Leather, a transparent yet pliable material, Green has fused the soft suede with a fiber 15 times stronger than steel to give the shoe added durability. This fusion of strength and style is evident in the various leather combinations and color blocking used in the Joke FSDX, APRITN, CONCEPT, and Pull on designs.
