F1 Celebrates 75 Years with Unveiling of 2025 Liveries and Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk

At the highly anticipated 75th anniversary event for F1, held at The O2 earlier this week, all 10 teams, their drivers, and Team Principals gathered to reveal their 2025 liveries. But the excitement didn’t stop there – luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton also took the opportunity to showcase their latest creation: a bespoke Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk.

The French luxury giant has once again joined forces with F1 to create a special edition FIA Formula One World Championship trophy trunk, which will be awarded to the best driver of the season at the end of the year. Crafted with the same attention to detail as all custom Louis Vuitton pieces for F1, the trunk was constructed at LV’s historic atelier in Asnières, France.

The trunk features two folding front panels, adorned with a hand-painted V for “Victory” and “Vuitton” in the iconic black and white Damier pattern, paying homage to the colors and finish line of Formula 1®. The interior is lined with black leather and microfiber to protect the trophy, while the exterior is finished with leather trim and brass corner protectors, lock, and clasps – a nod to the traditional design of Louis Vuitton trunks since the 1860s.

Blending the worlds of fashion and sport, the partnership between Louis Vuitton and F1 continues to evolve. The two have previously collaborated to present the sport’s trophy trunk between 2021 and 2024, and their partnership only continues to grow as F1 reaches a wider audience.
