BEAMS and NEEDLES Reunite for a Stylish Capsule Collection
Japanese fashion powerhouses BEAMS and NEEDLES have joined forces once again to bring us a sleek and chic capsule collection. The collection, which features three styles in muted colorways, is a nod to NEEDLES’ signature motifs.
The standout piece in the collection is a black nylon stadium jacket, adorned with NEEDLES’ cursive wordmark on the front and black-on-black stripes on the arms. The jacket also pays homage to BEAMS’ iconic Ivy-Americana aesthetic with ribbed cuffs featuring black and white stripes.
Another highlight of the collection is a matching zip hoodie and trousers set, which puts a modern spin on NEEDLES’ retro tracksuit. The set features a tonal butterfly applique on the chest and NEEDLES’ signature vertical stripes.
BEAMS and NEEDLES have a long history of successful collaborations, often focusing on limited edition pieces and small capsule collections. In the past, they have released a special edition of NEEDLES’ H.D. trousers and even collaborated on a Timex watch for the BEAMS BOY Line.
