Tokyo-based brand AMBUSH is taking us back to the streets of Shibuya with their latest collection, aptly titled “Homecoming.” Known for their fast-paced style and spontaneous collaborations, AMBUSH has become a staple in the fashion world. But this time, they’re revisiting their roots and reexamining their classic pieces with a fresh, feminine touch.
The collection features AMBUSH’s signature tracksuits and reworked jerseys, but with a lighter and more delicate feel. Don’t worry, the brand’s edgy outerwear is still present, giving the collection its defining edge. Sand-colored co-ords with lace cutouts and a teddy bear shearling jacket create a warm and feminine look, while a heart-shaped bag with metal chain and heavy-metal hardware jewelry add a touch of rebellion.
AMBUSH stays true to their relaxed and athletic silhouette with coated cotton hoodies and bejeweled denim outerwear. Layering is key in this collection, paying homage to Tokyo’s eclectic street style and the fun of dressing up. Furry accents are a recurring motif, seen in shearling, fuzzy socks, fur coats, camo fleeces, and fur boots. These soft touches add a contrast to the edgier leather-studded ensembles.
