COMME des GARÇONS’ Iconic “2” Fragrance Returns with a Romantic Twist at Dover Street Market Paris
Just in time for its 30th anniversary, the cult-favorite “2” fragrance from COMME des GARÇONS is making a comeback at Dover Street Market Paris. But this time, it’s got a romantic twist.
The original “2” fragrance was first released in 2005 as a follow-up to the brand’s initial perfume launch in 1994. Created by perfumer Mark Buxton, it drew inspiration from the darker notes of the original scent to create an iconic sequel.
The new version, affectionately nicknamed “Love Hurts,” comes in heart-shaped metallic brillo pad packaging. And it’s not the only one – the limited release also includes five other COMME des GARÇONS fragrances: Amazingreen, Blackpepper, Wonderwood, COMME des GARÇONS Eau de Parfum, and CdG 2 Man.
But that’s not all – the “Love Hurts” re-edition is just one part of a larger Valentine’s Day activation at DSM Paris. The store has enlisted 15 members of its creative community to share their unique perspectives on love and showcase meaningful products that speak to them.
From poetic to provocative, the curated shopping experience features a range of designers, including All-in Studio, Chopova Lowena, Vaquera, Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, Simone Rocha, Doublet, Edward Cuming, and more. And of course, the limited edition COMME des GARÇONS 2 fragrances and custom packaging are available exclusively on the first floor of Dover Street Market Paris.
So whether you’re looking for a romantic gift for your significant other or just want to treat yourself, head over to DSM Paris now to snag one of the 120 bottles before they’re gone. Because as we all know, love hurts – but smelling good doesn’t have to.
