BEAMS FUTURE ARCHIVE: Reinventing the Wheel for Spring/Summer 2025
Japanese label BEAMS FUTURE ARCHIVE is known for its innovative approach to design, constantly pushing the boundaries of what it means to create “archives of the future.” And for their latest collection, they’re taking on the edgy Y2K uniform with a nostalgic twist.
The Spring/Summer 2025 range is a fusion of grunge and punk-inspired styles, infused with Western and workwear influences. Leather is a key element, with biker jackets in sleek all-black and a gradient blue colorway, complete with zippers, pockets, and snap buttoned sleeves. A leather zip-up vest adds an extra layer of edge, paired with distressed knitwear and tees.
But it’s not all about leather. Denim also makes an appearance in the form of dark-washed jackets and pants. Models complete the look with cowboy hats and blinged-out belts, adding a touch of Western flair to the collection. A standout piece is a hoodie featuring a white skeletal drawing on a black background, while a plaid oxford shirt adds a pop of color to the lineup of neutral-toned pullover cardigans.
