JOOPITER Celebrates NIGO and Pharrell Williams’ Creative History with Dual Auction
JOOPITER, the ultimate destination for all things cool and collectible, is paying tribute to the creative genius of NIGO and Pharrell Williams with a special dual auction. Titled “NIGO Knows” and “Pharrell Knows Too,” the auction will feature iconic and rare items from the personal archives of the two legendary artists.
The auction items were first unveiled during the Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall/Winter 2025 show in Paris, which also marked the debut of a new collaboration between NIGO and Pharrell. The two have been friends for nearly 25 years and have worked together on numerous projects, making this collaboration a dream come true for both of them.
According to Pharrell, NIGO is the ultimate archivist and his personal archive in Tokyo blew his mind when he first saw it. He describes it as a time capsule and is grateful to call NIGO his friend, mentor, and collaborator. NIGO also expressed his excitement about working with Pharrell on this and many other projects in the future.
The “NIGO Knows” auction will showcase NIGO’s extensive collection of rare pop culture memorabilia, showcasing his love for various artists. Some of the highlights include original posters from the Beatles, Ludwig Drum Co. drum kits identical to the ones used by Ringo Starr during the band’s iconic rooftop performance in 1969, and Andy Warhol’s “Campbell Soup” series silkscreen print. There are also signed items from the Beastie Boys and special mystery boxes from renowned artists like Takashi Murakami, Futura 2000, and Daniel Arsham.
On the other hand, “Pharrell Knows Too” will focus on Pharrell’s rise as a fashion icon and will feature items from his early career with N.E.R.D. Some of the standout pieces include the group’s logo trucker caps, a solid gold-covered Jacob & Co. Blackberry 8820, and a vintage military helmet worn by Pharrell for the cover of his album “Nothing.” The auction will also include Pharrell’s iconic reflective suit from the 2015 GRAMMYs and a customized Brown Mountain Hat from Vivienne Westwood’s World’s End collection.
In addition to these items, the auction will also feature luxury goods from top brands like Hermès, Goyard, Chanel x Pharrell Williams, and Louis Vuitton, as well as art and objects from Futura 2000, SHAG, and Tiffany & Co. x Daniel Arsham. Watch enthusiasts will also have the chance to bid on rare timepieces from Pharrell’s personal collection, including a Franck Mueller City of Sails watch.
