Fashion Curator Poggy Kogi Teams Up with Porsche for a Timeless Collaboration
Get ready to rev up your style with the latest collaboration from fashion curator Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi and Porsche. The two iconic brands have joined forces to create a collection that combines classic fashion influences with timeless automotive design.
Poggy’s vision of merging traditional style with the iconic Porsche 911 Carrera T (Type 992) has come to life through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The result is a dream car that perfectly embodies Poggy’s unique sense of style.
A Collection Inspired by Racing Legends and Royalty
The apparel collection draws inspiration from two fashion icons – British racer Jackie Stewart and Princess Diana. With a mix of tartan patterns, tailored pieces, and casual elements like V-neck sweaters and denim jackets, the collection exudes elegance and sophistication.
“This traditional style, which is a little less dressy like Jackie Stewart’s, pairs seamlessly with the 911,” Poggy remarked. He also highlighted Diana’s relaxed yet balanced approach to fashion as a key influence.
A Custom Porsche 911 Carrera T with a Personal Touch
Poggy’s custom Porsche 911 Carrera T is a true reflection of his personal style. The car features a sepia brown paint, paying homage to the decade of Poggy’s birth – the 1970s. It also boasts unique illustrations that tie into his apparel designs, making it a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Everyday Elegance with a Touch of Casual Cool
The collaboration emphasizes everyday elegance, as Poggy envisions scenarios like filling up at a gas station in workwear or reading manga while parked in a Porsche. “Driving a Porsche casually, without overthinking, is my ideal style,” he shared.
The collection and Poggy’s car will be exhibited at SELECT by BAYCREW’S Toranomon Hills Station Tower in Tokyo, alongside the limited-edition apparel line created with BAYCREW’S. Prices for items in the collection range from ¥13,200 to ¥60,500 JPY ($84 to $387 USD).
