University of North Carolina Unveils New Air Jordan 4 PE
When it comes to Jordan Brand-sponsored universities, there’s no denying that the University of North Carolina holds a special place. After all, it’s the alma mater of none other than Michael Jordan himself. And with the ongoing 2024-25 basketball season, the Tar Heels have just revealed their latest pair of kicks.
In keeping with their partnership with Jordan Brand, the school has once again decked out the Air Jordan 4 in their classic “University Blue” colorway. The leather upper features various shades of soft blue, giving the shoe a unique and intricate look. But what really sets this pair apart is the addition of rich metallic gold accents, found on the UNC-branded dubrae and the Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel tab.
But the most eye-catching detail has to be the crystal basketball in Jordan’s hand on the Jumpman logos. This special touch is also featured on the hangtag, which showcases both the Jumpman branding and UNC’s logo.
Unfortunately for sneakerheads, this Air Jordan 4 “UNC” PE is not expected to hit retail shelves. So for now, we can only admire these exclusive kicks from afar.
